| So I'm extremely excited, because my Christmas present from my mom is 2 tickets to Michael Buble in March at the Ford Center :) FLOOR SEATS! SEATS 1-2 SO I'M IN THE AISLE! Whoo-hoo! Now I just have to pray he comes down off the stage so I can shake his hand... or hug him... or whatever. Lol! Merry Christmas to me.

| So this afternoon when I got home, I went to my cat's room to get food for this little stray we have running around. I live in a trailer, not my favorite place, but it's a place to live. Jason and I have been trying to figure out how to get out of it, but it hasn't gone so well until today. I was walking back down the hallway on my way outside when I noticed my cat looking up at the air conditioner unit. I glanced up and saw what I thought was a pipe sticking straight out of it... but when it hissed and lunged at me, I figured out no pipe does that, it's a snake. Needless to say, I'm NOT going back there! I seriously screamed, ran, and got in Jason's truck all in one motion. I was bawling and hysterical, but I'm DEATHLY afraid of snakes. I went into a panic attack that lasted about an hour. I'm ok now, but I'm seriously calling an attorney tomorrow to see if we can speed up this whole jumping lease thing. There's mold, cracked bathtub, rotten toilet, squishy carpet, and now snakes... Honestly, I'm out. *Nicki* | | |
| My great uncle Raymond passed away Saturday morning and his funeral will be tomorrow morning. After suffering a major heart attack, he wrote out his funeral arrangements and some last minute things and told the family to take him off of all the machines and things keeping him alive. They unplugged everything on Friday sometime and just kept him on Morphine to keep him comfortable and he passed away Saturday morning. My family would greatly appreciate the prayers and thanks those of you who have been.

| Wow! It's been WAY too long since I've wrote in here. I'm not sure anyone reads this, but it doesn't matter, because this is my way of keeping track of all the happenings in my life. Ok... since June 9 this is what's happened:
Kristal (my cousin who wasn't expected to make it) has been slowly but surely recovering. She's one of 2 people who have survived this sort of thing. She was internally decapitated (her spine and skull were separated). She has been working with some amazing rehab nurses in Enid and thanks to God and the medical team, she's talking, eating on her own, moving ALL her limbs, and has been able to stand for minutes at a time with nurse's help. I'm so proud of her and her strength and determination. She's a walking miracle literally! :) God is so faithful and has answered our prayers. She was able to hold her son Bradley on his 1st birthday and spend time eating cake with her other son Tyler (my Goober) for his birthday. It was incredible! Her and her boyfriend will be getting married within the next year as well, which I find quite fun since she was the one who caught the bouquet at my wedding over a year ago.
Jason and I are doing awesome, he's working for Stillwater Mill and I work for Dimensional Concepts doing data entry. The Lord willing, I may be switching jobs though to something that is more along my field of study and will allow more money and time to focus on school. So pray that works out! :) Jason's started taking Kenpo classes at a martial arts facility here in town, and doing awesome at that. Him and two of his friends are taking it and are aparently very good! He's losing weight and gettin all buff. I love it :) I just need to work on that as well! Lol!
School is awesome, I'm almost finished with Medical Transcriptioning and I'm doing well in my Massage Therapy classes too. I should graduate in June.
I've also started my own business (crazy huh?) with Arbonne and I'm VERY excited about all it's done for me thus far and all it can do for me. I'm working hard at making people aware of the products as well as the business end of it. If you're interested in pure, safe, beneficial products that will literally change your life or a business opportunity where you can make anywhere from $75 to $22,000 a month just contact me and we'll get together and get you some info.
Now for the bad news, my great uncle Raymond is not doing so hot right now. He suffered a major heart attack over the weekend, and they're not expecting him to make it. Unfortunately I didn't know him that well, but my favorite story to tell is one from my wedding. Him and my great aunt Mary came down, and apparently uncle Raymond wasn't paying attention to where everyone was entering, and he came right through my room! Lol! So he saw all of us getting ready and things. It was really funny, but he was so sweet about it. He gave me a hug and congratulated me and went on his way. I'm asking for your prayers for my family and my great aunt Mary. I'm not sure how long they've been married, but I can't imagine losing someone so close.
I think that about covers my update. I love you guys! Stay in touch.

| Hey everyone, I'm asking everyone to please pray for my cousins. They were in horrible accidet yesterday... Yesterday afternoon my cousin had a Home & Garden party at IBC Bank in Guthrie, OK. We were all (all us girls and the babies) were going to it and then the whole family was going to meet at my Granny's house for Kristal's (my 26 year old cousin) birthday which was yesterday. We left the party and we were all in several vehicles since everyone kind of rode together. Tyler didn't want to go with anyone but Mommy (Kristal). So she drove my Granny's explorer with her son Tyler (5 years old) in the front seat and her other son (8 months old) Bradley and my cousin Amber's baby Treavor (7 months old) were in the back. They went ahead and left so they could get the roast turned off at Granny's and get things going. My mom, my Granny, me and Kristal's adopted daughter who's 2 were in my moms car. We left the party and were heading back to my Granny's when we came up on a wreck. We saw a car on fire and another in the ditch on it's side. There were people everywhere jumping out of their cars, but no medics. We must have pulled up not long after it happened. By law, my mom had to stop and check on people. We never saw injured unil she got out. I was sitting in the back seat, and I saw a large person hanging out of the passenger window which was on the ground. My mom was in the middle of running over there when it dawned on me who it was, it was my cousin Kristal. She was unconsious. They pulled the babies out and Tyler but I was just trying to get all the cars away. I ran up on it... I saw too much. I had that two year old in the car with me so I didn't panic, I just pulled the car around to where she couldn't see what was happening. I grabbed her and took her into a house that a lady had opened up to take care of the kids. I started grabbing other people's kids and getting them inside as well. I then moved cars out of the way. Kristal was too heavy for them to move away from the burning car (which was the car she was hit by). The people there were amazing. They all worked together. They found a piece of plywood and rolled her onto it and began working on her away from the flames. Amber's baby Treavor was ok, but he had a cut over his eye and a big bruise. The vehicle landed on his side. Bradley, the other infant, was fine. He just had some bruises. I then went looking for Tyler. The lady with the house had put him on the cold tile of her kitchen. He was beat up pretty bad. For those of you who know me well, you know Tyler (my goober) is my heart. He had cuts and bruises everywhere. Kristal's seat belt had broke from the weight of her and she landed on Tyler. The air bag had deployed on him too. His forehead had a big knot and bruise. He also had a pretty big gash on his arm and some on his face. His cheek was all swollen and bruised and his mouth was cut and bleeding. His nose was bleeding as well. He was such a trooper. I'm so proud of him! He never cried. I stayed with him until the EMT got there, I held his hand and we prayed for mommy and we prayed for him. We sang a little bit and just tried to keep awake. It seemed like forever until the paramedics got there. Kristal was supposed to have been air lifted but they couldn't because she was too heavy. So they got her in an ambulance and high tailed it to OU Medical Center. My goober was air flighted because they were concerned about the possibility of a broken hip and internal bleeding. PRAISE GOD HE'S OK! He's just banged up. He was released last night. Treavor, one of the infants was moved to a room in the Children's Hospital so they could monitor him and x-ray him. He seems ok though. Bradley was released almost as soon as we got there. As for Kristal, she's hanging in there. We found out last night that she's never regained conciousness. She's got some significant brain damage in the brain stem, which is the function center of the brain. Her heart rate is still very elevated and her temperature keeps spiking and then coming back down. The pressure on her brain is being monitored and is normal so far, but she's on a ventilator and all kinds of machine keeping her alive. She's also got a collapsed lung and some serious bruising on the lungs. It's not looking good for her, but I KNOW I SERVE A HEALING GOD... A GOD OF MIRACLES! I am believing in a miraculous healing to take place in her body. I believe everything happens for a reason and that God's will will be done in whatever situation occurs, but I pray for healing. Please, please, please be praying for her. The cause of the accident was two girs being chased by some man and they blew threw a stop sign. Last night on the news, we found out that the male was arrested, but we're not sure about the girls. I'm trying to forgive, but it's really hard right now. I just don't understand how people can be so careless... | | |
